TedLasso is absolutely fantastic (TV show created by Apple for its streaming service Apple TV+)
Beyond the actual elements of wonderful direction, acting, writing etc. it's also likely having a large positive impact on the business:
- I'd liken that Ted Lasso is to Apple as House of Cards was to Netflix (premiere moonshot show)
- After Season 1 being an absolute hit (& numerous awards won), new episodes of Season 2 are being released week-by-week
- That means that folks on monthly plans are encouraged to renew to continue watching the latest season (retention wins)
- In the process not only generate more $ for Apple directly, but also peruse other shows that Apple offers in the meantime
If you haven't watched it yet, I'd definitely recommend giving it a go
