[1] There are many many issues that are causing the Texas crisis - ex: antiquated power grids that haven't been refreshed in decades - that expand beyond your time.
[2] You deciding to vacation (Cancun!) yesterday was ridiculous and you should probably resign.
[3] It's not that you caused the Texas blackout that "was seconds/minutes away from being a blackout for MONTHS". It's that you didn't spend every minute of your time trying to help as many people as possible (spreading information, calling Pres Biden, coordinating logistics, calling for FEMA $$)
If you decide to vacation during a crisis - as a PRIVATE person - that's your business.
If you use public office to pay for a vacation during a crisis that you didn't do much to prevent... resign and let someone else do the hard work of improving texas for the future
