Foreign domestic helpers are counted as Hong Kong residents (as C&SD's methodology requires) and are about 99% female, concentrated in their 30s–50s. At 40–44 specifically, 85,200 of 366,600 women counted — about 23% — are domestic helpers, per C&SD's own resident count excluding helpers (Table 110-01002A).
