Lot of ways to describe what's going on w/ the GameStop + Robinhood + Reddit, Inc. + WSB situation
The most curious one I've read - (paraphrased) "this is one the largest redistributions of wealth in modern history"
If you were to assume that "retail traders" are likely avg middle-class people, and that the hedge funds here represent the funds of the top 0.01% - then enormous wealth was (temporarily?) transferred from the "rich" to the "poor"
Obviously, this doesn't mean I'm an advocate for what's happening. Interesting framing of what's happened though.
