Inputs and full scope definitions

The acquisition completed on 10 August 2022. The first reported consolidated profitable quarter was April–June 2023, at ₹2 crore PAT. FY2024 was the first profitable full financial year, at ₹351 crore PAT. The quarter milestone is an annotation, not a 12-month chart observation.

The latest point is trailing 12 months ended 30 September 2026: FY2026 PAT ₹366 crore − H1FY2026 PAT ₹90 crore + H1FY2027 PAT ₹217 crore = ₹493 crore. Interim inputs are unaudited company results. Annual points are fiscal years ended 31 March; all plotted values cover 12 months.

The pre-acquisition red line is the historical consolidated Zomato group; the green line is Grofers India / Blink Commerce standalone statutory PAT. The black line is the actual consolidated Zomato / Eternal group, including Blinkit from acquisition close and other businesses. Its name changed to Eternal in 2025. It is not an arithmetic sum of the pre-acquisition lines.

Dashed connectors meet at the deal date only to show the acquisition. Their joining height is a visual midpoint of the two final pre-deal annual points, not a reported or inferred profit observation at closing. FY2023 is the reported annual group result, with Blinkit included only after close. The chart shows chronology; it does not establish that the acquisition caused profitability or that Blinkit itself became profitable.

FY2018 Zomato uses the original consolidated comparative inspected on PDF page 9 of the FY2019 financial statements (₹1,063.12 million loss = ₹106.312 crore loss). FY2019 and FY2020 use later RHP-restated figures. Earlier Grofers FY2018–2020 figures are contemporary third-party reports of RoC filings; their underlying filings were not independently obtained. Repeated articles about the same filings are one source root. Exact values and conversions are retained below.
